Starting as Ngulube MTB Classic, the first mountain bike race in Eswatini in 2000, Mlilwane’s annual bike race changed its name to Imvelo MTB Classic in 2004.Our entries are capped to ensure we maintain a race with fabulous personality and the lowest possible environmental impact. It is quite a balancing act to remain a largely Swazi race and simultaneously attracting great competition and active participants from outside Eswatini!

Mlilwane Game Sanctuary Accommodation has been block booked for our cycling guests and therefore appears fully booked on our online availability. To book your room please email reservations and our ladies will allocate you rooms as available.

Aims of Nedbank Eswatini's Imvelo MTB Classic

  1. To become Eswatini’s MTB event of the year by being an efficient, well-organised fun event with the highest ethical standards

  6. To enhance awareness of Big Game Parks as a contributing organisation to Eswatini’s society
  7. To enhance, entrench and grow mountain biking as a sport in Eswatini
  8. To enhance awareness of Eswatini within the regional adventure market
